Login via Google or Apple Account


From release 9.1.0 of Daze App, you can both register a new user and login to the app via Google or Apple accounts.


Attention!

If you use registration/Access via Apple account pay attention to disable the "hide my email" feature as your account in Daze App will be generated with an email address other than yours, this "facing" email address is used to ensure a level of privacy higher by masking your identity on the net.


What is "Hide my email"?

The function"Hide my email"(Hide my Email) is an Apple service that allows you to create arandom and unique email address addresswhenever you register for an app or website that supports "Sign in with Apple".

Instead of providing your real personal email address (for example, nome.cognome@icloud.com), the app or site receives only this "fictious" email address oraliasis.

When an app or website supports Apple registration or access via Apple (via the buttonSign in with Apple, the process always provides for a step in which the user must confirm the information he wishes to share.

Below are the steps forshare your real email address(and therefore don't hide it):

Procedure to Share Real Email


  1. Tap the buttonSign in with Appleon the Daze App.

  2. Summary/Confirm Screen:A screen appears that shows the information that is about to be shared (name and email).

  3. Selection of the Email:On this screen, the user clearly sees two options related to the email address:

    • Email: nome.cognome@icloud.com

    • Under the address, find two choices (selectors):

      • Share my email(this is the option that the user must select)

      • Hide my email(the option to avoid, which creates fictitious alias)

  4. Confirmation:The user touches"Continue"and complete access/registration with Face ID, Touch ID or code.

If you select"Share my email", the app or website will receive its actual email address associated with your Apple ID, exactly as it would happen with Google or Facebook. The forwarding function and fictitious alias are ignored.

If you already have a Daze account with an email that is also the email of your Google or Apple account, by logging in with that platform you will access the same Daze profile (no duplicates).


Apple ID:at first access with "Sign in with Apple" it is essential not to hide the email. The option "Share my email" should be selected (and not "Hide my email"). If you hide your email, Apple generates a private alias and Daze cannot match it with your existing account and as a result will be created.


Different email = new account

If you are already registered in Daze App with an email that does not coincide with that of Google/Apple (or use an Apple "hidden" alias), and then log in social with a different email, a new separate account will be created.
