To verify the correct installation of the Power Meter carefully follow the following checklist in conjunction with the consultation of the installation manual of the Daze charger and PM itself.
Check list
Check the correct fixing of the TA current sensor(s).
The arrow direction indicated on the current sensor is correctly oriented with the arrow pointing towards the loads of the system.
Make sure that sensor 1 is connected to PM input 1 (top dx). Check the same also for sensors 2 and 3 in the case of three-phase PM.
Check, in the case of PM Three-phase, that there is correspondence between the phases of the plant and those on the PM.
The connection cable between PM and the charger was inserted into the RJ45 input of the correct charger? See PM installation manual and Daze charger.
Make sure you have used a network cable of the type indicated in the Power Meter installation manual.
Check the crimping of the RJ45 terminal through the appropriate tool (not supplied in the package) for check of the connection Ethernet cable.
Verify that there is continuity of shielding by doing a continuity test between the two shielded RJ45 terminals (supplied in package).
Once all the checks above check the live readings of the Power Meter installed by going to the "Power Manager" section in Daze app
Open Daze app
Select the network you want
Settings
Power Manager
NB: Readings are available both through connecting your smartphone in bluetooth with the charger and remotely. In the latter case, the charger must be correctly connected to an internet network.
At this point it is appropriate to verify the concordance of the values shown on Daze app with a measurement performed live with an amperometric caliper. If the values match then the Power Meter has been installed correctly. Otherwise perform the checks in the Check List again.
