Daze's Power Meter is a device designed to manage load balancing and optimize the charging of your electric car, ensuring vehicle charging only when sufficient power is available for charging.

• Prevents counter detachments:Avoid charging your car from proving overloading the home power grid, preventing power interruptions.

• Integration with the photovoltaic system (if any):The Power Meter allows you to readthe value of energy sold to the network(photovoltaic surplus) to operate or charging Standard/Boost adding up the power generated by the photovoltaic system or inSelf-consumption.

Operation

The Power Meter consists of two main elements:

• Current sensor(s):Measure the total energy consumption of your home in real time. The sensor used is two-way type, this allows you to read the current direction, giving the Daze charger to distinguish the photovoltaic surplus (negative value) from a consumption (positive value).

• Control module (CT Box):Analyze the data collected by the sensor and accordingly adjust the power delivered to your electric car, ensuring that it does not exceed the available contractual power.

In case of single-phase vehicle connected to a Three-phase charger, the consumption will be unbalanced entirely on a phase until the maximum absorption available, verify that the counter in use can manage this situation, otherwise set an unbalancing limit between phases in advanced charger configurations.

NB in case of installation of three-phase power meter during configuration (Daze app) pay attention to selecting the correct model of Power Meter installed.
